Sometimes, local libraries don't have the budget or selection to meet your reading needs, and the wait times for popular titles on Libby can be so annoying. But here’s some great news!

There are numerous places where non-residents can obtain library cards, and many of them offer FREE options. Even if a card isn’t free, investing $50-100 a year can grant you access to a much larger catalog, opening up a world of books and resources. I'm more willing to pay $50 to a large library than purchase 3 books I won't read again.

Here's my library card resource of over 200 libraries (with at least 50+ free) that you can obtain a non-resident library card!

For the cost of a VERY used book, you get everything I've got!
